Jojoba is rich in vitamin E, zinc and B-complex vitamins to help sensitive skin fight the signs of aging. Jojoba oil is also a humectant. This means that it works to seal your skin with a protective barrier to keep it from losing moisture. The antioxidants in jojoba oil may help your body produce collagen. Collagen is a protein that’s in your skin and joints as well as the parts of your body made of cartilage. Collagen levels decrease as you get older. This is part of the reason your facial structure changes as you age. Studies have shown that using Jojoba oil applied to the skin showed improved collagen synthesis. Rich in vitamins A, E, and D, plus antioxidants and fatty acids, jojoba "oil" is actually a wax ester with remarkably similar properties to our skin's own sebum.

Rosehip Oil  offers several benefits when applied externally. It protects the skin and increases cell turnover because it contains beta-carotene (a form of vitamin A) and vitamins C and E, which are all antioxidants that help fight free radicals. Rosehip oil’s healing properties are due to its chemical structure. As noted, it’s rich in healthy fats, but more specifically oleic, palmitic, linoleic and gamma linolenic acid. Rosehip oil contains polyunsaturated fatty acids (vitamin F), which when absorbed through the skin converts to prostaglandins (PGE). PGEs are excellent for skin care because they are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration. It is also one of the richest plant sources of vitamin C, which is another reason why rosehip oil is such a great product for fine lines and overall skin care. Rosehip oil has significant anti-aging benefits for your face. Super light and non-greasy, this oil’s skin care benefits come from its high antioxidants and ability to penetrate into deeper layers of the skin, where it can improve moisture levels and reduce visible signs of aging. Collagen production naturally slows down as we age, but thanks to the high levels of vitamin C in rose hips, this is an oil that can actually help stimulate collagen production in the skin. In fact, a clinical study published in 2015 reveals that 60 days of topical vitamin C treatment was “highly efficient as a rejuvenation therapy, inducing significant collagen synthesis in all age groups with minimal side effects.” For those who are seeking to avoid chemicals and Botox, rosehip oil may be perfect because of its skin-rejuvenating properties of vitamins C and A and lycopene. This makes adding it into your skin care routine a safer, organic solution to repair the skin’s surface and restore elasticity. The UV rays of the sun can damage the skin, resulting in age spots and hyperpigmentation on the face. The antioxidants found in rosehip oil, especially the combination of vitamins C and E, can help combat free radicals that cause sun damage.

Vitamin E is a powerful source of antioxidants, helping to fight wrinkles and fine lines caused by pollution, UV rays and free radicals. Vitmain E does this by neutralizing the oxidant effect of free radicals. Your body cannot naturally produce it, so it’s vital to get it from a skin or hair care product. Vitamin E reduces inflammation both within your body and on your skin which helps it to look youthful.

Frankincense has long be known to be a miracle oil for the skin! It repairs and protects the skin. Its anti-inflammatory, skin-healing action. Frankincense combats signs of aging. Frankincense oil has a rejuvenating effect, especially on mature skin. It minimizes wrinkles and fine lines, and reduces the appearance of scars and blemishes. The astringent quality of frankincense oil has an overall toning effect on the skin. It helps to increase circulation, and tighten skin. It's often used to reduce the appearance of sunspots and age spots. If you have uneven color on your skin, some whiteness in some areas, any spottiness or splotchiness, frankincense oil is the No. 1 ingredient that can help even out skin tone and help get rid of sunspots and age spots. Frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent that can be used to help reduce acne blemishes, the appearance of large pores and wrinkles. Frankincense is also one of the best essential oils for skin tightening. The oil can be used anywhere where the skin becomes saggy.

According to research, lavender essential oil helps your body produce three of your bodies most powerful antioxidants, glutathione, catalase and superoxide dismutase. With its known antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics, lavender essential mixed with benefit-rich oils can have profound positive effects on the skin.

Patchouli Essential Oil has various anti-ageing properties. Not only does it heal and detox your skin, but its active compounds also help to stimulate muscle contractions to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. Patchouli essential oil regenerates new skin cells, and this keeps the skin looking young, healthy and vibrant.
